Here is how you can keep your lights water tight…

Electrical tape is good for so many things, but it is not good for connecting Christmas lights. If you look real closely at the image below, you can see that the tape is wet and has water on the inside and outside.

Here is a closer look at how much water and moisture gets into the chords with using electrical tape. See below.

You won’t able to correctly keep it water tight. The only thing that you will do is trap the moisture inside.

To help, use vampire plugs. Do not use what is shown above. This will not help with keeping your chords water tight.
